So this is whats happening at Indie Studios

COVID-19 has taken over. I really thought it would be zombies. All jokes aside we have to change our way of living. All of US! Have you noticed the reports of Mother Nature healing herself? We have to continue this. Have you noticed all the support for essential workers? We have to keep this going as well. All of our lives have been affected by this virus and it has made people look at the world in a different way. Just like we need that doctor, nurse, paramedic we also need the cashiers, cooks, janitors, farmers, plant operators, etc. You are not alone in this.

With this said we have had to make an adjustment to the way we do things at the studio. We are not able to have parties or group gatherings. Right now we are making masks. We have donated several to a local nursing facility and hope to send more. Masks are available for purchase as well.

Materials are getting difficult to purchase. Cloth, thread, sewing supplies, elastic they are all getting very difficult to find and when you do find them the prices are outrageous. We have found alternatives to the typical elastic but sewing machine needles and specific fabrics are not as easy.

To keep the studio going we will continue making masks as long as we have the material. We will find ways to bring art to your lives and get you creative.
